When Dems do find ways to take action, few are confident their actions will make a difference: 19% say they are extremely confident their actions will make a difference, while 40% are unsure, 27% are doubtful, and 14% are extremely sure their actions will not make any difference.

Just 28% say they feel Democrats have a clear strategy for opposing Trump in Washington, and almost the same number, 27%, feel Democratic leadership has given them direction on how to oppose Trump themselves.

By an overwhelming majority, 76% to 20%, Dems want their reps in Congress to fight harder against Trump's agenda, not find ways to compromise w/ the administration. Support for compromise is anemic across the board, rising above 30% only among the 6% of Dems who voted for Trump.

Just 23% of Dem voters say party's response to Trump's 2nd term has been excellent (7%) or good (16%); 68% have a negative view, with 25% calling the response "only fair," 22% "poor," and 21% saying it is "unacceptable." 31% of Latino Dems say party's response is unacceptable.
