A few days before my Nan had a stroke (several years ago) she gave my brother a fiver and he put it in his inside coat pocket. She died a few weeks later. He still has the fiver in his pocket and that always makes me smile. It definitely is the small things that get me too!

For many he was “just a cleaner” but for me, he was the person who went out of his way to make things seem better
