From 1–2 Dec, I joined the Inaugural East African Forum on Refugee Labour Market Access. On the Breaking Barriers panel, I raised issues affecting refugee women—documentation, caregiving burdens, unsafe spaces & mentorship gaps—and called for systems where women can thrive.
