City council found a technicality in my original zoning application. At the Cc meeting they showed me a letter from their new attorney (he sent it out 24 hours ago and to my wrong email address) outlining that I didn’t have the proper verbiage on the letter from the land owner.
Despite the zoning board denial, I’m still going to city council for approval. In most places, the planning commission (zoning board) acts as a filter by “recommending” approvals or denials on land items in order to keep CC discussions focused on admin and operations. The CC does.

Clown on CNBC right now talking about AI being the only thing holding up the economy because consumer spending has "grinded to a halt". He must not ever leave his parent's basement. Take a walk anywhere in the US and the consumer seems plenty robust to me. Heaven forbid some.

Dumb post. Builders have been doing nothing but INCREASE prices for the last three years. It has to stop sometime. Stop being a doomer. A crash might happen, but there is absolutely no data showing it’s imminent.
All the real data is saying the economy is rapidly slowing.

This lady is mad. There’s plenty I don’t like about zoning regulations. However, I wonder how often she voted in local elections. I wonder if she looked at the zoning map before buying that land (which she probably got for cheap since it’s in a flood plain). I wonder if she would.
This woman OWNS 37 acres of land. The government STILL told her she can’t put a tiny home on it. “I said, I own the land. It's massive. What's the problem?”. Even when you own the land, the government still tries to tell you what you're allowed to do with it.
