A cold easterly didn't put off our visitor on our Bird watching cruises this week with plenty to see on the Estuary. Grey Seals are an added bonus, Avocets in good numbers 3-400 Golden Plover are always a favourite and GN Diver a bonus bird. Dates already up for next season 👀

What a great couple of Cruises this week, Birds in abundance throughout the Exe Estuary Avocets BT Godwits DB Brent Geese Dunlin Grey & Golden Plover Lapwing to name but a few plus Common & Grey Seals. Winter Spectacle up close. @DevonBirds @Natures_Voice @WildlifeTrusts

Another great Guided Bird Cruise today highlights 50+ Bar-tailed Gotwits 16 RB Mergansers 400+ airborne DB Brent Geese spooked by 2 x Marsh Harriers over Powderham Marsh. Plus a Common and Grey Seal and of course great company. @RSPBExeEstuary

A great birding trip this lunchtime with 125 visitors enjoying our overwintering birds onboard the "Pride of Exmouth". Highlights were the return of over 300+ Avocets feeding on the mudflats near Topsham & 2 Great Northern Divers off Starcross.

Sometimes I think the @stuartlineexm birdwatching cruises on #ExeEstuary are blessed. As the boat set sail rain stopped and we had 3 blissful hours of mild, calm, dry weather on flat waters 😊 An unexpected #Guillemot and a close imm male #Eider were just 2 of today's highlights

Another brilliant day on the Estuary was had by all. With some Bonus Birds already spotted this week the pressure was on for Jo to find them!! Great Northern Diver was the main quarry. Great stuff one was spotted along with many of our favourites. What gorgeous weather too.
