Despite repeated warnings some people are simply not taking the pandemic seriously. This is just the beginning of a very long road and it would do some people no harm to take a leaf out of the book of the generation we are honouring today while some of them still remain with us.

This is Aaron - a French Bulldog. The little pup, who is 4, went missing from his home in Tunstall, last night. His family are desperate to get him back as they miss him terribly and he is on medication. If you see Aaron, please call his owner on 07764368232. Thank you.

I always knew he’d inspire me. 24 hours after brain surgery he’s giving a mini Joe Wicks workout a go @thebodycoach Yesterday he was on morphine, today he does this. He never gives up 💪

WTF? Why are these people not observing social distancing? Do they not understand the irony of clapping for the NHS yet deliberately increasing the risk of putting more pressure on the NHS? Ridiculous. 👇

He's done it! Captain Tom Moore, a 99-year-old war veteran who is walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday to raise money for the NHS, has completed his challenge! He has raised more than £12m for the health service https://t.co/eUiQiX5AAP

Well done everyone who queued for a last McDs. Everyone who queued to get into Snowdon. Everyone who packed out beaches and parks at the weekend. You're the reason we are about to get locked down for two weeks. Fucking tossers. State of you.

I'm hearing from many panicked self employed. I believe the govt knows it must sort this. Its been tackling the lower hanging fruit (ie easiest issues) first. Funding self-employed's tough logistically. Yet I'd be surprised if more help wasn't enacted next week. Try to hold on :(

Entering 2019 with no negativity, no bad vibes and no grudges. If you’ve wronged me, you’re forgiven. If I’ve wronged you, I am truly sorry. Life is too short, so here’s to everything the next 12 months throws at us. May we enjoy, love, thrive and be happy.
