On the eve of what is the most important rugby match of the year, we would like to wish our lads the very best of luck! Here's the squad that have earned the right to wear the jersey for tomorrow's final. Remember all of the greats who have worn it before you, bring it home lads!
On behalf of all of the students, parents, teachers, former staff and pupils of St.Munchin’s College, we would like to express our deepest sympathies to all the McNamara family and to the clergy and wider community of the Diocese of Limerick on the very sad passing of Fr. Leslie.

It was a poignant, bitter sweet day in Munchin's as we said our farewell to one of our favourite sons.
One of the greats, Eugene will be missed by all but we are forever grateful to have had that spirit for so long.
It is with great sadness that everyone in St. Munchins's College learned of the passing of our neighbouring friend, teaching colleague, and former principal of Scoil Íde, Corbally, Mr. Peter Long over the weekend.
Huge congratulations to Jake O’Riardan (5th Year) on starting his first U18 Six Nations game against France. Ireland took an early 13-0 lead but the French scored two quick tries which gave them a very strong position to win 28-23. Well done Jake 🍀🇮🇪

Underlining the brotherhood that is at the heart of rugby is the recent tweet from David Pocock about a schoolboy memory. A decade ago he was in Limerick and who do you think he teamed up with then? The uniform hasn't...
Thanks to Mr. Anthony Bayle from Dell for providing training to our TY students who will be competing in this years Vex Robotics competition

I always look forward to 'the first day in the shirt' ritual. This year due to weather we have had to wait a while for our first years to take full owneship of the black, red and blue.
60 lads got a game of rugby today. The latest generation to fly our flag.

Josh as he was way back then and Josh as he is now, still a try machine. Lots of great moments but the intercept, Junior Cup Thomond Park, when we were under the cosh against a rampant CBC who had gone 14-0. Well done, well deserved and congratulations on making the Ireland U19
It is not everyday that a pioneer comes to College, but that was the pleasure we had yesterday as Roy Galvin, who graduated in 1974, returned to his Alma Mater after too many decades' absence. Roy's frontier was ballet and dance, though he is also an accomplished musician.
November we remember our loved ones.On Monday we had a prayer service over the intercom. We focused on keeping the memory of our deceased loved ones alive. We paid tribute to Darren Ryan.We remember him as a lovely student and a colleague taking us to many events on his bus
Seems like only yesterday that these men were first year whippersnappers. Tempus fugit. Well done to proud Bannermen Darragh and Jack who are togging out with the Clare 20s.

Les was a true gentleman to everyone be it in the classroom, staff room, rugby pitches and from the altar.
His passion, drive and vision as teacher, principal and president of St.Munchin’s will forever live through the College motto ‘Veritas in Caritate’
May he rest in Peace.
Sometimes a word or formula of words, extracted from the lived experience of another troubled soul could help you through the rain.
Here are a few of the pleasant additions to our school environment by Ms Shiels.
Our annual charity cup match takes place this Friday night, December 13th, KO in St Mary's RFC at 7pm. Tickets will be available in the coming week through our own school and through Crescent Comp.
