Simon Zebo apologized again to Michael Lowry for taunting him as he scored and gave Lowry his shirt. He was a little ashamed of himself. But it was totally out of character and apology was accepted by Lowry and Rory Best. Zeebs is one of the best people I’ve met in the game.

Red Army will be thanking Schoeman late into the night. Earls 2 tries from 2 chances and 8 touches. Bleyendaal delivered; that overthrow take and his conversion rate from the right touchline is incredible. Some defence. That last set summed them up. Some win. 14th semi. Wow.

A stupendous encounter. Match of the season at the Aviva, or probably anywhere else for that matter. Ulster died with their boots on and made Leinster did deeper than they've had to do all season. Bench, savvy, going to their line-out maul, got them there. Atmosphere stunning.

Three random thoughts from watching The Machine that is Leinster tonight. Is Ryan Baird, seriously, only 20? And is Scott Fardy actually 35? One plays way older, the other way younger. And, thirdly, this must be a nice time to be a Leinster supporter.

Very different occasion and match, as well as venue, but that, for me, was even better than Chicago, cos it was Dublin and the Aviva rocked. But Best said: "They're both first firsts so I don't think any one feels better than the other." Some list of scalps in this era now.
