Yeah, funny how "old" is used as an insult. Getting old is an achievement; the older we get, the more life experience we have, and the more living history is in our heads. Aging is a priceless resource.
When you get past a certain age and people want to insult you, such people often use the word 'old'. Somehow, deep in their minds, the idea of being old must seem to them to be bad. Do they think that they won't get old? Or is there something about being old that worries them?.
