Thank you for hosting our 2023 workshop, "The Near Crisis Project: Why What You Don't Know Can Hurt You," based on this book project. We also presented findings at NATO HQ, SHAPE, Argentine Council for International Relations, the International School of the Scottish Government.
Congrats to @stevenelobell & co-authors of Understanding Near Crises and Escalation in World Politics!. First shared with policymakers at a @ACScowcroft #ForwardDefense workshop, the book shows why disputes escalate or defuse—and how leaders can prevent war.
