Well done Chloe! This is a very important role and goes a long way to meeting the health and welfare needs of our rural communities. There is no reason why this should not be expanded across the country. Institutional inertia is largely to blame.

Over the last 12 months, firefighters in Bedfordshire have co-responded to 333 medical emergencies, of which 203 were Category 1 emergencies. The fire service arrived first on scene in 70% of the Category 1 calls they attended. https://t.co/LHc3F1AwVe
