Let's dive into the DNF / Finish rates for UTMB from 2003-2024. This was originally created for last year's edition, but now I have my own tools built updating is a snap. One helpful future addition would be weather ☀️. @aidstationfireb @dylanbo @UTMBWorldSeries @UTMBMontBlanc

Just finished compiling the Women's UTMB 1/3/10 time spreads since 2003. Amazing that there was less that 12 minutes between 🥇 and 🥉 in 2018!. 2003 only had 7 women finishers compared to 355 in 2024. Big growth in the sport and the results show it. @aidstationfireb

The 2025 Hardrock 100 is underway. At Animas Forks (mile 42.6), Ludovic Pommeret is leading. Katie Schide is the lead female in 6th overall. Katie is currently up 50 minutes on Courtney Dauwalter's 2023 Counter-clockwise direction record. I'm not really keeping this updated

While we all await Hardrock 100 this weekend, let's take a look at the 1st/3rd/10th spread analysis. Using times since 2000, the chart helps visualize that the iconic mountain run has been generally speeding up at the top end, but seems to have plateaued and slowed down at 10th

Western States 100 Men's 1st, 3rd, 10th Spread Analysis. After taking a quick look at the last 5 years of 1st-10th data last week, it seemed natural to redo it with a chart version displaying the time spreads between 1st, 3rd, 10th place finishers. This view really helps
