Helen Mino Faukner claims the unsupported Joshua Tree Traverse FKT, after a near miss on a previous attempt, in 4:31:16. @FastestKnown This is nearly 10 minutes faster than Jade Belzberg’s previous supported FKT, and almost 40 MINUTES faster than Rachel Drake’s unsupported FKT!

The records continue to fall at Tunnel Hill! Catriona Jennings 🇮🇪 sets a new women's World Record for the 100-mile distance in a blistering 12:37:04, averaging 7:34min/mi (4:42min/km) pace for the duration of the race!

Re: Women's running sub-7h at the 100k distance (only 3 ever, incl. Courtney!): Tomoe Abe’s WR is from Lake Saroma in 2000. Time of 6:33:11, but with an insane tailwind. Marie-Ange Brumelot at 100km de Steenwerck in 2024, in 6:56:54, but the race course was not IAU labelled.

At Tunnel Hill today, Courtney Olsen took down Ann Trason's longstanding North American record at the 100k distance, in a new NA-best time of 6:59:55! I have to believe the list of women who have ever gone under 7h for the 100k is miniscule! (who else apart from Tomoe Abe?)

Anne Flower sets a new WORLD RECORD for the 50mi distance at the USATF 50miChampionships at Tunnel Hill in 5:18:57, bettering Courtney Olsen’s 2024 record by nearly 13min! Anne Flower also set the Leadville 100 CR earlier this year, bettering Ann Trason’s longstanding mark.
