but overall wrestling is not a safe space for women and itâs sad, infuriating, gross, heartbreaking, all those things. Itâs still a business led by people who never want to really confront the deep rooted misogyny and abuse of the business and change it 4/4.

For me, as a kid, wrestling was safety, it was FOR ME (read my Undertaker/parental death essay to understand) as an adult itâs been navigating a world thatâs definitely not for me. Yes there are friends, nice guys supportive people 3/4.

Anyway ended up getting into the industry a bit, first did some training, then became a journalist. Still compiling those essays about the past 25 years or so since I found Nitro. Title still stands but itâs taken on a whole different meaning 2/4.
