This country is in for a very rocky 18 months or two years. If the Conservatives allow themselves to be know as the party that wouldn’t stand up to Trump, or to secessionists — or as the party that sided with either — it will spend another generation, possibly two, out of power.

I'm not sure why research was needed to draw this conclusion, but okay.
Reporter: Trump argued that other countries are going to pay the brunt of the tariffs, but recent research finds the exact opposite. The cost of Trump's tariffs per household was $1,000 last year, and they're seeing an increase this year to $1,300.
