We did it. We made it through a long day of Qualifying at @IMS and we’re officially in the 107th #Indy500!. Huge thanks to the No. 24 @DreyerReinbold @CusickMSports @carekeepershlth @TeamChevy crew. They put together an amazing car and we’re in position for a great Race!

If your Norris, your fighting for a WDC, after a bad qualifying, its damage limitation, you tell your engineer, I don’t give a F where I finish, I just need to beat my teammate today. #F1.
I’m blown away at how bad some of these #F1 strategies are. Why would NOR & LEC pit on lap 30. if your NOR, you’re still leading, and you’re 7s ahead of Piastri. could have easily managed another 6-8 laps, stayed just ahead or close to PIA, then babied the Mediums to the end 🤦♂️.

The problem is, you have strategists that just aren’t racers, the best strategists have racing IQ, they can relate to what the driver is experiencing, they aren’t just looking at spreadsheets.
I’m blown away at how bad some of these #F1 strategies are. Why would NOR & LEC pit on lap 30. if your NOR, you’re still leading, and you’re 7s ahead of Piastri. could have easily managed another 6-8 laps, stayed just ahead or close to PIA, then babied the Mediums to the end 🤦♂️.
