Does this parenting hack work for others?. When I want my 3yo kid to accept what I’m saying without additional dialog or negotiation, I just use a word they don’t know in my response to them. “Why not, daddy?”. “Because […] oxidizing.”. Works surprisingly well haha.

It's been a little over a month since my wife switched to a 3 day work week (3-10's) as a medical provider, and it's been great for her mental state (which radiates to the rest of the family). I can see why the Dutch lifestyle cultivates happier humans.

Pro tip: if you have a lengthy layover in Atlanta, take the train down to the international concourse (F). It’s super nice, is quiet, has decent food, and places to chill. An international flight isn’t required to get in.

it's almost depressing how much slower i am with a stock keyboard for my daily work, mainly due to forgotten shortcuts that are a single key or thumb+key on my custom map. skill issue, but still.
