This is awesome! I wanted to benchmark @nativephp to see what we could accomplish here. I pulled in 100MB of JSON data from a third party and ran json_decode on the contents. It took just over 3 seconds to retrieve the file. But less than .22 seconds to parse it 💨
Turns out JSON parsing is really fast in @reactnative! And if you want the bytes of the response, DO NOT use res.arrayBuffer! It's SLOW. Weirdly slow. Instead get the plain text and encode to binary with TextEncoder. Note that these results are for 100k records, not 300k as in

@nativephp 200 to fund the active development of NativePHP seems low. React Native had Facebook pour money into it, whereas here we have the community funding it directly. Also, 200 euros gets you 10 developers, which is an agency-level headcount. 20 per developer per year is cheap.

While playing around and studying @nativephp, I ended up creating a native app for computer, to chat with any AI provider. You can speak in audio, which will be transcribed into text and sent to them, stores your conversation history in SQLite. It can work entirely locally using
