i went to the hospital once for abdominal pains and then was told i had a 5mm kidney stone that i had to have surgically removed, fucking awful, drink water kids!!!

i think a really underrated feature of the human body is the ability to create rocks in a few organs. kinda insane how we havent constructed anything out of these stones

Seeing female characters in STEM being leaders and having vital roles inspires me to keep working and not give up. This wouldn't be possible without Nyota Uhura and Nichelle Nichols for opening the doors of space for them, and inspiring real women and minorities to STEM careers.

Today is International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Women are still under-represented, generally struggle to get recognition and are often overlooked. Representation matters and female characters in STEM fields are important, especially in something as big as Star Trek.
