The 6th JSCS commenced on 22 August. The course conducted a workshop on presentation skills delivered by @fleishmanIE . This allowed the students to develop their already well honed communication skills in preparation for presenting their research and learning during the course.

5th JCSC are continuing their European engagements in Brussels with the EU and the Irish Permanent Representative to Brussels. This session with Magnus Christiansson from the Swedish Defence University, examines security challenges faced by the Nordic/Baltic states.

Students of the 5th JCSC commenced their Regional Security Studies (RSS) module with a visit to NATO HQ in order to deepen their understanding of Irelands engagement with NATO’s Partnership for Peace (PfP) as well as briefings on current European Security challenges.
Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group from the 🇮🇪 Joint Command and Staff Course for a series of introductory briefs. #Ireland has been a valued #NATO Partner for almost 25 years, contributing to European defence & security.
