. consuming to make, that is like the perfect time to deploy the AI. I can ask claude code to make some slight reworking of how a module is imported or something in 100 files and I can be pretty confident its going to do a better job then I would by hand.

Lots of people talking about the risk of coding with AI but not a lot of people talking about what humans are probably objectively worse at than AI when it comes to programming. When you want to make big sweeping rename/refactors that are trivial in content but very time. .

Ok also, I'm aware that the default fly machines stop auto-restarting after 10 failed attempts, but why does `fly deploy` not ALSO reset the time and attempt to restart the machines? In what situation would I NOT want to restart my machines during a deploy?.

Meanwhile if you want to set a goal of feeding yourself 90% from the land it’s actually very achievable with 5-10 acres. For a lot of reasons direct comparisons to midieval farms isn’t very helpful.

We will never get out of this discourse. You have to remember the Middle Ages had no concept of a nuclear family unit. The family was much larger. Also keeping animals is very costly in terms of growing the grain to feed them.

Even if YouTube Premium were free, I wouldn't subscribe. I watch ads until the end, that's how I learn marketing. Sometimes I don't even watch the actual video because the ad gave me a better angle for my startup. Ideas are hidden in the stuff everyone skips.
