One of my friend (from a tier 3 college) ended up in 4 LPA package. He was Expert in CF and had done 1200+ leetcode qsn. I'm feeling very sad for him. He clearly deserves much more. Sad to see, but this is the case for many students.

Software is the most oversaturated field. If you tell HR, your expectation is 12 LPA, there always be someone with your equal skill ready with 5 LPA. Don't get miss-guided by influencers who only glorifies it & don't show the dark side. Supply >>> Demand in this field.

It takes 6 months to become Expert (1600) on codeforces. It takes 6 months to become good at Web development. It takes 6 months to become good at Android development. In whatever situation you are, if you work honestly hard then in 6 month, you can come in very good situation.

Goal should be to achieve X rating on Codeforces/leetcode, not minim amount of DSA required to crack Y MNC. Seen some influencers promoting minm DSA required for 3 LPA/ 10 LPA and so on. Seeing this made me realise how dumb a person can be and their audience who follow them.

@MrSinha_ Naidu will not leave BJP because he has no interest in Central position. BJP got national support as accepted. Only UP betrayed and the reason is BJP don't talk about employment. Congress promised employment (although don't talk about how they give) . Second, Congress give 8000

According to my experience so far: Cracking startup interviews who ask deep tech related ques is much more difficult than cracking a big MNCs who ask DSA in interviews (as they ask lc easy medium). Getting into MNCs mostly depend on luck not on skills due to random shortlisting

After placements, I'll study ML, AI, GenAI, Transformer, NLP etc. I haven't explored this field till now. I think these are the future of tech. I'll also develop the habit of reading research papers and books. For now, I'm too much dependent on blogs and videos.

My strategy to learn any dev skill I follow 3 steps: 1) Watch one shot video in 2x to get idea of whole topic. 2) Watch full playlist and only code important parts, not the whole tutorial as it wastes a lot of time to code everything. 3) Apply all knowledge in a major project.

Not getting shortlisted is very common problem. There is a lot of candidates for 1 opening. And many spam applies in roles because of mass sharing in telegram channels. So, even if u have very good resume, it not necessarily means u will get interview call because most of the

Advice for those who gave JEE: If you're getting tier 1/2 college, great, go for it. But if it's tier 3, choose a college with no attendance policy. Don't just rely on YouTube reviews; most of them are paid reviews; connect with alumni of college on LinkedIn for real insights.

To all developers, if you are using JavaScript, try to shift into Typescript. Typescript is better. It reduces runtime errors and it will hardly take 1 day to learn Typescript. Most organisations now write their code in Typescript. They don't use plain JavaScript anymore.

Majority of resume I see, the most common one is: - 500+ questions on leetcode - Some MERN Stack Projects Most Fresher's resumes are made up of these two things.

If u want to take referral for any job link, don't apply. First, take referral, then a unique link will come in inbox. Apply through that link. Sometimes, u don't need to apply after referral, depending upon company. Many of my followers are juniors so they might not know this.
