Last week, @WSJ reporter Evan Gershkovich appeared in a Russian court for the start of a sham trial, his head shaved on order of prison authorities. I’m shaving mine in solidarity. Evan is a journalist and journalism is not a crime. #IStandwithEvan

"There is a striking lack of any factual or legal substantiation provided by the authorities of the Russian Federation," the U.N. panel said. The arrest of @WSJ's Evan Gershkovich was "designed to punish his reporting" on Russia-Ukraine #IStandWithEvan

On Thursday, @WSJ ran this ad on A-4, showing the great @ailworth in her element: fireproof clothes & safety gear, ready to run toward danger for the story. Dogged and fearless. The same day, @DowJones laid her off. @ailworth would be perfect in any newsroom. Just look at her.
