the mv3 extension standard puts a lot of restrictions on background workers. It leads to an interesting puzzle and the path dependency means the code will have to be optimized to use as little battery as possible. (still hate google for pushing this tough).

TPTB have a vision for the web: make it completely censored and surveilled. In 2026 the "EU digital wallet" will be introduced. They will use what ever bs excuse to make it mandatory to use the web. We have 1 year to build an alternative. Otherwise this is our future.
