Rockies assistant GM Zack Rosenthal, who has been with the organization for 21 years, has resigned from the club. Colorado is currently searching for a new head of baseball operations to replace Bill Schmidt.

The Texas Rangers have hired Skip Schumaker as their new manager. Schumaker, 45, was the National League Manager of the Year in 2023 and spent the last year as a special assistant with the Rangers. He takes over for future Hall of Famer Bruce Bochy.
