I didn’t consider myself to be a naive person, but since starting to work in homelessness advocacy, I have struggled with the sheer amount of people—homeowners, politicians, journalists—who truly believe that if you don’t have access to stable housing, you should just die.

I went to two rallies like this recently and was gobsmacked at how few other people there were. Literally 80% of the crowd were people from the hosting orgs. Anarchists need to take the lead on organizing.
why do orgs think people want to see events flyers with all of their logos crammed on most of the available space

If you are an older anarchist you have to get out there. The kids need you. There is no second chance here.
the wild thing really compared to 9, 10, years ago is the absolute self-purge of anarchists from robust and urgent debates within the US. young, angry, teens overwhelmingly turn to other tendencies/histories for insights and inspiration. and it's literally nobody else's fault.

a bunch of bad arguments rest on the idea that society eclusively adapts to innate preferences and that preferences arent in turn modified by the organization of society
One thing public transit and third place enthusiasts miss is that most Americans don't like people and want to spend as much time as possible alone in their cars or houses

LAPD did this. Not ICE, HSI, CBP or any other "feds."

Another death in an ICE detention facility. A growing, unsurprising, tragic epidemic.

And to anyone doubting its significance, this is a preliminary action, a stress test. It will force everyone in Minneapolis to see what a general strike is and what their power can look like in this political context

@specifism @peakcapitolism why aren’t more people talking about the very real and ongoing nysna strike, in which 15,000 nurses walked out for safe staffing

Hey, so. After Charlie Kirk was killed, did the left doxx his kids' school and barrage it with so much harassment and violent threats it had to shut down for the safety of the students and staff? Because the right did that to Renee Good's six year old son's school.

I don't really think I agree with calling OnlyFans creators petit bourgeoisie. The platform they post on, OF, is basically their boss. They control what you are and aren't allowed to post. And they can suspend you at any moment for any reason. Doesn't sound like ownership to me.
