what does it say this reviewer has to try and rationalise the sound of hyperpop into post irony instead of engaging with the sound on it's own terms? im amazed there are people who still think authenticity only looks like sensible math rock bands or fourtet clones.

i was thinking abt what to say as someone who saw hyperpop turn into what it is now, but what ive landed on is that i feel sorry for people who can't see authenticity in anything other than traditionally critically acclaimed music.

ICE kidnapped him while he was taking his work break. He went outside to rest and they ganged up on him and brutally forced him against his will in their vehicle. This isn't detainment. It's kidnapping someone soley for being a Person of Colour sitting alone out in the open.
