My first plugin was accepted into https://t.co/kcEvf2DqNM. Screenshots are boring so I'm doing a video instead.

Now 5 years later, I brought the idea back to life and built the entire thing vibe coding and it only took me a few hours of my time. We are living in a wild time. Needs some style tweaking but I love how it turned out: https://t.co/PmiaNdgzqy

I had this idea about 5 years ago to build a system where you could customize your WordPress dashboard with blocks. It turned out pretty cool and I ended up selling the plugin for about 1/3 of what it cost to make.

Hot take: Wapuu is one of the best things WordPress has going for it. Linux has a penguin. GitHub has a cat-octopus thing. WordPress has a chubby blob people actually love. Stop treating him like an embarrassing uncle at Thanksgiving and put him to work. https://t.co/pbIWBY0gk0

Not everyone loves Wapuu, the pudgy yellow mascot of WordPress. Some find it too cute, too childish, or simply not their style—and that's completely fine. A mas

After waiting three weeks and getting my second rejection (over underlining), I'm going to update my theme—but I'm also starting a conversation. Because if I'm feeling this way, maybe you are too. Here's why WP underline mandate needs an update: https://t.co/3oqzqWJfii

Look, we love that WordPress cares deeply about accessibility. That commitment is what makes the platform special! But there's a conversation worth having about

I turned my WordPress plugin readme optimization guide into a cheat sheet that AI can use. Now it takes 5 minutes instead of 5 hours. Used it on my own plugin. The results are wild: https://t.co/7xD1tPGGVx

Remember that blog post I wrote about why your plugin has 10 installs ? The one where I explained WordPress.org's entire ranking algorithm and how to actually f

There is no WordPress idea that I can't bring to life with AI. A tweet from @photomatt about the best way to read (line height, width, etc) gave birth to CozyMode. Check it out here: https://t.co/vQAyAMd8Fc

Another big release for @BuildWithOllie this week. We're introducing a suite of @WordPress block editor enhancements that start to bring our grand vision into focus. Native, intuitive, effortless, and inevitable.

I spent time digging into why WordPress plugins get (or don't get) installs. Here's what I learned about the https://t.co/I9LF6ZQCl3 ranking algorithm and what actually moves the needle -->

A podcast I did recently about the work I'm doing to create a social network for writers that's built out of the web, all parts replaceable. WordPress had some surprising well-hidden power. I hope people listen, esp people in the WordPress community. https://t.co/hVrJKnHibs

This is my first Cursor project, it's basically every single advanced RSS feature Claude could come up with. It needs much more testing (with real life data) but it works and it passed the https://t.co/kcEvf2DqNM plugin check: https://t.co/Ojwvz9LdmX

Somehow I just developed a testing suite for my Cursor built WordPress plugins. It's crazy what happens when I'm just talking with my coding buddy :) .

I'm already having a blast with Cursor's custom AI personalities and keep telling everyone at Automattic we need this too! Probably not a priority, but it makes such a difference in how fun AI is to work with 🤞

Switching gears from blocks today—going rogue with a traditional plugin! Asked Claude to hunt down every sweet RSS feature WordPress hasn't gotten around to yet, then BAM—built it into something seriously cool.
