Having an energy limiting condition is frustrating cos like atm I have about 20 minutes of energy per day to do all my eating, hygiene, medical admin, socialising, everything. 1/3.

The industry isn't built for disabled people to thrive and it misses out on the glorious stories we have to tell. Disabled artists are valuable and rest is the best. Slowly I will continue to imagine and create and collaborate with wonderful people. 7/8.

As part of this I would love to have some (paid) chats with disabled/chronically ill theatre creatives (especially folks with energy limiting conditions) about process and ways of working that actually work for your brain and body. 6/8.

I love making theatre and I want to continue to do this, so I am applying for DYCP funding to completely redevelop my practice as a disabled actor and writer. 5/8.

Previously I worked really hard (and often burnt out) to fit in with inaccessible theatre systems but I'm now housebound and at this point in time I can only sit up for about ten minutes at a time/write or read a few sentences in one go. 3/8.

My life has changed a huge amount - I got really ill two years ago and although I tried to keep going and manage, I'm having to confront the fact that every aspect of my life is drastically different to how it used to be, and this includes my work. 2/8.
