Today’s joy involves badgers and poetry and this wonderful bottle of ‘Badgered’ pills from The Poetry Pharmacy. Delighted to see my lines there and to read all the others.

There's often a typo in my blog, and I pride myself on finding it before I hit the publish button. Sometimes it sneaks through, and my wife lets me know. This week it got past us both! After a massive cringe, I had to google 'hashed browns' to make sure they weren't even a thing.

The cork has been popped, the Storm has taken flight, made land, been opened, read aloud, supported via live launch, Podcast & zoom launch. Rhona Greene & myself have truly had the best adventure. Days are made of moments & storms like these are made of magical moments 💙

‘New Hat’ and ‘Jaguar Skin’. (A discarded elastic band with a small stone on top under a kerb stone. A discarded elastic band on a pavement where the damp spots are like the clouds on a jaguar.)

November on the calendars brings: #LookThere Ronnie jumping for joy in Whitstable. #ElasticBandPhotos ‘On the Diving Board’ A discarded elastic makes the shape of a person’s head, and the paving lines add the figure of a diver.

Today’s joy is my mum’s reaction to receiving this envelope. Laughing that I hadn’t even noticed, and feeling glad I have an electronic calendar to keep me on track.

‘This poem is me at my beast’ Huge congratulations to all the winners and shortlistees (is that a word?) for the @ForwardPrizes. The readings last night were a triumph. I love this poem from @IsabelleBaafi’s ‘Chaotic Good’ (winner of best first collection)…
