Subeditor Rhona Greene & EIC @deuxiemepeau are now working through the shortlist (the longlist was EPIC) for Issue 5 & hope to have our final selection by the end of July 2025! .In the meantime, you can Flip through Issue 2, with cover art by Jane Rainey.

Just to be clear, the editor of The Storms journal is a writer himself & can write his own story (and with 2 chapbooks & 2 collections he already has!). Receiving a clear AI three poem submission based entirely on his life is not at all what the editor is looking for 😳

Took a trip to seaside last Saturday with last year’s Dublin issue of The Storms journal and stopped at Gerry’s supermarket which is featured in Catherine Cronin’s poem Skerries. The journalist now open for submissions for issue 5 .
