1/ #bitcoin $BTC historical Elliott Wave count and extrapolation exercise. Back around July this year, @AkumaldoCrypto discovered a quite pervasive fib extension of 3rd and 5th waves that seem to occur historically: 2.618. I decided to play with that a little. Read more below.

Bitcoin is owned by humanity, the protocol developers are stewards, and need consensus from users to change it materially. bitcoin is about money, spam has no place in the timechain. what defaults the bitcoin core project puts in the reference client matter in this.

Not that it matters much, but BTC price action looks like retail "crypto" investors, who have still not understood Bitcoin think it's "alt season" and massively rotate from BTC into shitcoins anticipating the BTC crash, while institutions just scoop up the BTC liquidity laughing.
