Our S1s were full of praise for our visiting author Elizabeth Wein: "I liked her stories because I could picture them in my head." "The visit got to your heart, and helps you understand the backstory and what happened to people." #ReadingSchools #HolocaustMemorialDay
We were delighted that author Elizabeth Wein could join us today to speak to our entire S1. She explained why she writes about the Holocaust in her novels. Elizabeth then got S1 to complete their own creative writing task to commemorate Holocaust Memorial. Thank you again! 🕯
