#CatchSnap is a handheld 3D machine vision unit, used to inspect catch samples aboard smaller fishing vessels.🀳🐟.This is important, because many small scale fisheries consist of small vessels without onboard assembly lines, making processing hard. 🌊.

CatchMonitor is a system for automatic monitoring of catch aboard fishing vessels, using CCTV cameras. It is able to count and classify both catches and discards, on a moving conveyor belt. Have a look at CatchMonitor in action, below! πŸ‘ @uniofeastanglia .

Enabling fisheries to search for Nephrops prior to the catching and continuously monitor the it will substantially improve the fisheries catch efficiency, species and sizes selectivity, economic efficiency and reduce the ecosystem effects the fishery has on the environment.
