My eight month pregnant “farm companion thingy” rode all day with me swat mapping a field to learn and understand what I was doing.
She’s a great FARM WIFE… that’s what she is,
She embraces it, puts up with a lot, nothing wrong with being proud of it.
Asked a local young guy at the Chem shed what he was spraying/seeing for weeds
“ahhh I dunno my agronomist just gave me a list of chemical to spray I don’t know what’s out there “
Truly the decline of new generation farmers

Personally 2020 was pretty awesome.
✅ Another year with my dream girl.
✅ We built our dream home together.
✅ A great year on the farm with lots of growth in several ways.
✅ Life in general is awesome
Happy new year, best wishes in 2021.
We had an addition to the family a little bit early on Jan 22!
Mills Halston Archibald joined us.
Our tiny but mighty guy is doing great so far in the Nicu and we are so proud of him.
He’s tough, must know what’s waiting for him at home with big brother.
Yes the world may be falling as you know it. But remember the demand for products grown in western Canada is big... they might temporarily restrict our products but demand will force a remedy to the situation. At least that’s my positive take on it.

Crop scouting... Moving the sprayer/water trailer if short a person. Imagine a little landing pad on the trailer…. Cooler than a quad or a pedal bike 😄
Never have I ever seen so much hate for one Prime Minister on my Facebook and twitter. Even more liberal minded people are starting to shift their thought and lay the hate on him. Here's to hoping they shift their vote next election too.

*everyone saying how non existent the snow is on twitter*
Me looking out the window. The top of that flower pot is likely pretty accurate for accumulation amount. I’ll check it with the tape soon. Looks to be about 14”
4 years ago this beautiful girl went on a date with me. She fed me fries 1 by 1 on the way home. I knew before that she was the one but.... that was icing on the cake!
Exciting things coming... stay tuned!
Right
@salsaonmyballz
?!!!
Who would ever buy a green 2 track?? 😂😂😂🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️this quad is so far ahead of that green RT I tried last year...Hope the salesman isn’t reading this but this thing is awesome. Must say I’m impressed
40 acre of black/white salinity here last year. Put tile in last fall. Difference is astonishing. Truly the only cure. Only problem is I need more of it in the ground.
So nice to be able to hear the radio spraying. Must make for a long day for you John Deere guys ..do you hum to the whine and noise of the engine ? 👀👀👀
Every one complaining about the current gov in Manitoba..yes some things are stupid, yes they are frustrating..
But would y’all really rather have the NDP, just saying. This is bad. Alternative is worse. Looming climate plan for ag put in the hands of province.
NDP=disaster
10:30 on my 32nd birthday … I’m currently driving country roads listening to ‘white noise’ on replay, with no beer and a fussy baby that needs to sleep.
I’m ok with it tho.
And yes he’s finally sleeping .. growing a lot is tough I guess 💪🏻
Wow. You just claimed award for the dumbest tweet of 2021 so far. Congrats, you are trash news.
I’ve Read some pretty dumb stuff in my life but this one takes the cake.
Just remember.
George Soros is a major share holder in John deere.
Justin Trudeau is George’s ass puppet.
When you buy John Deere you support George and Justin on their left green carbon tax UN agenda.
Way. To. Go.
If ur gonna pour ur Russian vodka down the sink… I got a barrel you can pour it into.
I’m sure the Russians are gonna drop everything thanks to that you idiots.
Cancel culture needs cancelled. Real world needs real solutions
Saturday thoughts on Growing Corn here:
-Drying costs 👎🏻
-Competing against largest crop in the global world 👎🏻
-High Input Potentially Low return 👎🏻
-Trash is major host for Fusarium 👎🏻
-Takes specialized equipment 👎🏻
-hard to convert to cash 💰👎🏻🤷♂️
Wettest place on the farm been tiled for 2 years. Right now as the more typically dry areas are soaking wet... tiled area is perfect and ready for seed with the water table managed.
You can bet I’m gonna sink tile as fast as I can this fall.
Disgusting.
Cattle farmers need assistance and you gave them a tax deferral for the income from selling off their herds.
Congratulations on being the worst and furthest thing from a ag minister there is
On behalf of my colleague

We must protect these important parts of the agricultural ecosystem!

If you get caught in a bunge line that extends to GVE, get some Pizza Haven pizza delivered. It won’t disappoint. This double cheeseburger pizza is awesome. Makes the 2 hour lineup much better.
I find it sickening and disturbing you run such garbage not only all the time but on Rememberance Day especially.
You are by the most ignorant left wing piece of garbage news agency there is. I await the day CBC and their left wing/fake news agenda is trashed.
Idiots.
It’s a bad situation out here not gonna lie or sugar coat. Not much you can do about it except try your best. Here’s to hoping for lots of sun and wind and a change in the forecast. Still hopeful for a good run but the calendar is certainly starting to work against us.
Does everyone’s kid in diapers wait till the mother is gone and then absolutely destroy and explode it with shit ? Or is it just mine punishing me ?
Like shit everywhere …in the sleeper.. everywhere
Heard JD STS and S series combines were designed with the cattle farmer in mind ... baling the straw behind has so much grain in It .. bales are a ready to feed Total Mixed Ration
@BASFAgSolutions
should be absolutely ashamed of the way they treat their growers. And no it’s not the reps fault. It goes above them. New varieties are not necessary changing every single year., a effective seed treatment is… we keep asking to a completely deaf ear.
End rant.
Casually shopping 16” augers… is it just me or is $100k+ for a simple auger outrageous?
Also what do people do to their augers… every used one looks like it’s ready for a scrap heap. 😵💫
Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Justin Trudeau, and Catherine McKenna are all in a boat that sinks....

After seeing how many people are going away from Invigor next year.... canola price likely be about $17-20/bushel after those pioneer yield shortfalls hit the market in 2021.
I’m sure since ag companies aren’t using tens of thousands in expense accounts for entertainment at ag days we can all expect a bigger rebate for chem and seed or lower msrp’s for products in the 2021 year. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
First couple loads and I’m fairly impressed .. would need to time it but i think it pumps grain as fast as my 13” swing auger .. I’ll follow up with some more concerns and comments as the week continues
I had one green combine for the whole farm. It was good, until it broke and the leadership at the local dealer failed to help us when we needed it, even after saying they would...
Just for all you potential X9 buyers... I now have 2 red combines in my yard.
Hellllo Dekalb 75-65 😍😍 seeded at 4lbs .. growing like stink. Almost didn’t make it out here for a second pass of mind numbing, everything killing glyphosate
So I’ve heard from a few people.. Bayer offered
@BASFAgSolutions
buteo for Invigor but got turned down... due to corporate politics of course
Make sure you tell your rep... you want changes for 2022 or you’ll be changing your plans
No better way to ruin a guys first Father’s Day than looking at some canola. It’s ugly. Debating a reseed even and/or more insecticide.
Who is to blame ? The Canadian government &
@BASFAgSolutions
and once I get this mess sorted out. I’m coming after them.
👏🏻 stop saying a blizzard will be good moisture. It’s forecast to have 50-60 or stronger winds… all it will do is drift into fence lines and delay seeding 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Rain is a much better alternative.
#PrecipitationArgueSzn
Well I hope these 2 can co-mingle and set their colour differences aside for winter hibernation...
#harvest19
is a wrap here on what we can get. Now
@salsaonmyballz
will have to put up with me hogging the Netflix again.
#trailerparkboymarathon
Some wicked Hoar frost last 2 days. Probably the wildest I’ve seen. Puts a rain in 6 months on May 31st and June 1st.. should be good timing as long as all the seeds are in the ground and growin’ 🤔😃
Seedmaster doing a great zero till job in heavy wheat stubble, even seeding into 10” stubble rows with new 12” spaced shanks. Conserving that moisture is what it’s all about this year.
A great bunch of cattle for sale December 7th at Killarney Auction Mart. Bred homozygous polled Simmental for spring calving. Won't find a more quiet herd, and would make a great addition to any farm. Rt's appreciated and inquiries welcome.
