Renee later also mentions two of these where she personally would like to see more startups & more people innovating:.- taking browser-Wasm space to the next level, and.- WebAssembly embedded in databases (an extreme "special case" of moving computation closer to the data… 😅).

(WebAssembly has *multiple* properties that lend it a rare & unique opportunity to solve really tough engineering problems in a way that simply wasn't possible before, but pinpointing the ones that are worth pursuing in itself becomes a problem due to the complexity of the space).

With @SuborbitalDev this actually comes up a lot: WebAssembly is, for sure, a really strong buzzword and you want to ride that wave in your communications — but it's also an *implementation detail* and as long as you are solving real problems, it almost doesn't matter.
