this is how a lot of writers are too. too much emphasis on bestseller lists, book deals, awards, status, etc. and not enough on what themes you wanna explore, what stories you wanna write, and just having fun with it

It's always someone's dream to open a bookstore; but genuinely I just want to start a bunch of local outreach programs to teach people how to make zines, write poetry & short stories. I want to organise reading nights for poetry and fiction that happen more than once a month, etc

So on point.

One of my favourite things to do is head to a not-so-nearby second-hand bookstore; buy a few books on poetry or writing that have already been annotated by their previous owner/s, and engage with their comments in the margins. #poetry #writing
