why should people who have been obviously right this entire time trust people who won't even acknowledge the clear evidence Israel is trying to exterminate Palestinians? Should we cheerlead another humanitarian pause?.

focus on the actions not words of people who did the wrong thing until two days ago when images of starvation showed up on their phone? also recognizing it as a genocide is important because it informs the remedial action to both stop it and hold perpetrators accountable.
You can of course believe this and decide that the only people who are allowed to be part of your movement to pressure the US and Israeli government to end the war must pass a linguistic litmus test, but its a dumb, self defeating political strategy. Focus on actions not words.
