read KK’s profile by @zebriez & let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding. Completely reframed how I felt about being drawn towards quests going off resonance rather than choosing linearly as is the norm—something I’ve always beaten myself up about. Will def write about this!

the sweet spot for many things is often at something like 80-90% effectiveness rather than 100%… optimum performance often sits just short of maximum capability
the point of a glass window is to be see-through. but when it achieves this too well, it becomes a hazard to people who don’t see it at all, which may prompt a warning that spoils the effect it has. what else is like this…? 🤔

this was my weekend read! I took to it more than I thought I would. It felt like such an accurate mirror of the times we live in: the pressure to always be perceivable, curation becoming calcification, and lives where where no moment is lived without being edited real-time

I find auto-driver-to-auto-driver conversations at signals so endearing cuz it’s always tiny things they observe: “how do you remove your phone from its holder? Where’s that shirt from? Who did your auto upholstery? “ And then they’ll exchange nods and just zoom off
