UPDATE: The kids are partially gone, and partially in bed. I have just done a 2+ hour recording session of multiple lessons, in a blissfully quiet studio. We make it work ❤️.

The workflow is: record 2-3 episodes in the evenings, in peacef quietness. And edit during the day, in chaos. Works quite well actually. Also negates the risk of lawn mowers, table saws, crazy birds or studio overhearting — not a bad strategy!.

BUT WHY RUNNING HIDE AND SEEK tho. This is the most backyard-destructing, scream-inducing game there is on the planet. At least they're outside I guess 😅.

Luckily I have a very flexible work schedule. I can take a break now while they go crazy, and record some screencasts tonight when they're all gone or in bed. And I'll take that any day of the week versus being in a 9-5 office and never seeing my kids having fun with friends ❤️.

On the bright side I am happy my kids have some cool friends and are having a great time. And having them in our house is probably better than my having no idea what they're doing running a muck somewhere else. So all-in-all, this is not a bad situation. Except for screencasts.

And yes, I am perfectly aware I once was a teenager making SCREAMS and animal sounds at someone else's house with my friends 🤣. Hopefully their dad/mum wasn't trying to record professional screencasts 😅.

Why do teenagers feel the need to SCREAM as loud as they can and make crazy animal sounds all the time?. Also, why are there 9 teens and pre-teens playing hide-and-seek in my backyard right now 😭. School holiday man 🫠.

Today has been **exactly 2 years** since we left Sydney and moved to a small surf town up the coast. Absolutely zero regrets, best decision we could do for our family ❤️

Forgot the actual photo of "these guys" 🤣.
Still taking these guys for a play cause they also deserve to walk. But being able to get fit/lose weight **while** editing videos, which I do for hours and hours of my life. is AWESOME 🔥.
