It would be cool for someone to create an index that measures things like:. 1. How much is this firm using AI to drive productivity today?. 2. What is the near-future potential for this firm to apply AI to increase productivity? Maybe taking into account trends in what use-cases.

The success of firms is going to depend increasingly on how much they leverage AI to drive productivity. Firms that do this better while outcompete firms that do this worse, with the effects intensifying over time. The nuance here is that AI has to be actually driving.
