One of these five “History” programmes is about Michael Jackson and one is about something that happened less than 13 years ago. Hey, BBC. Can I have a series and call it the “Jutland Research Club” or something equally twee?

There are some lovely paintings in ‘The Marine Sale’ at Bonhams tomorrow. I’d love this one by Montague Dawson, but with an estimate of £10,000 up … https://t.co/UUenCHKe1e

That fine image reminds of this.
My portrait of The Squadron Leader appears on the cover of this new book by Dame Penny Mordaunt & Chris Lewis, entitled “Pomp & Circumstance, Why Britain’s Traditions Matter” out 16th Oct, which also features more pictures from my series of the Household Cavalry inside.

I’m sorry to read about Sir Benjamin’s passing. I met him a decade ago aboard H.M.S. Belfast at a Navy Records Society AGM. We had a chat by the bar (gins all round), and he was very interested in my research.
Flags on Royal Navy warships and at Service establishments are today flying at half-mast following the death of Admiral of the Fleet Sir Benjamin Bathurst. ➡️ https://t.co/hhdvaHVfuY

What are the odds that two US congressmen would use the same photograph of an Indian frigate to wish the US Navy a happy birthday?

Turrets and flags can’t believe in lies. I wonder if this is AI or someone actually believes the poetic drivel they write.

Hi, @NationalHways. M6 northbound has been closed nearly two hours now and is forecast to be shut another two and a half. “Minor” severity doesn’t seem appropriate.
