This isn't true. Educators (*teachers?) are entitled to a break. Take a break. Have lunch in the staffroom. You don't *need* to be "on" all the time, and if your school is demanding that then you should take action. It shouldn't be normal and isn't acceptable.
One of the hardest parts of being an educator is the lack of downtime. You have to be on all day long. This is mentally and physically draining.
