ALERT: self described native fish fiend!!! Does anyone know of open grad school opportunities?.
Feeling a bit disheartened in my search for graduate programs and future positions. Responses have been low, but I’m still hopeful the right people will see this crazy native fish fiend is out there. Currently missing field work and teaching, can’t wait for warmer weather.

I wanted to show an undergraduate mentee how cool net-spinning caddisflies (Hydropsychidae) are, and dug up this gem! Thanks @DewiRoberts77 for the awesome footage :).
I filmed some more net-spinning caddisflies yesterday - this time on the lovely Rheidol, Ceredigion. #Hydropsyche #Trichoptera. These were filmed in real time - slow motion footage to follow
