The twisties literally make you want to quit gymnastics because they don’t just go away. They make it so hard to come into the gym everyday knowing your mind and body are fighting against each other. Most gymnasts can definitely recall when they’ve had them and it’s never fun.
Question for former gymnasts: Have you ever gotten the twisties?

Please let us remember Simone is human and you don’t know what that type of pressure feels like unless you’re truly her, which none of us are. It’s so easy to quickly jump on people who are doing things we could never even imagine, so just be cognizant of that!
