My research explores: 1) How online comments target athletes based on racialized language. 2) The damaging effects of misogyny and judging athletes beyond their athletic ability. 3) The exclusion of multicultural identities in online narratives about national identity #EndRacism

Social media comments often focus on race, language proficiency, and cultural expectations, leading to "double stigmatization." This means dual national athletes are judged simultaneously as "lesser Mexicans" and "lesser American" #Raciolinguistics
