Are these people for real?? Whining about not getting expenses while on paternity leave, fully paid paternity leave that is. Talk about putting your hand out to be slapped!!
I continued to get paid (a huge privilege & something we need to encourage all employers to do), but TDs lose expenses if we don’t turn up for work in Leinster House, which is basically what I did for a month. But I was obviously doing very important work at home.

Brian Harman, 17 practice swings. Still leaves himself 12 feet of a putt. Why is PGA tour tolerating this slow play. Penalise these guys a shot each time, they speed up. End of. #pgatour

All while co councils around the country licence puppy farms on a grand scale. I asked one last week if the look at the big picture when considering licences, I was asked what my angle is before they replied no, they don’t look at the big picture. Don’t care that pounds are full.
This mum & pup were found in #Sligo. You can see how much they have suffered.Rescues simply can't deal with the volume of dogs needing space. The govs own pound system can't cope. The level of neglect/abuse is overwhelming. So, if YOU really care, you will stop buying puppies 1/3

So 25 headlines down on The Journal, we find the story about that poor little girl being murdered in Wexford. On the day it happened. Disgraceful. It should be top story.

This is our shame, farmers of Ireland, always saying you love your animals, you don’t. Money is your goal. Shame, Shame, SHAME!
A number of livestock trucks were seen at Rosslare port yesterday, courtesy of @StenaLineUKIE, a company that claims to care about animal welfare with it's pet friendly cabins in the upper decks whilst unweaned calves are starving below... #StopLiveExport

To all the animal lovers out there. A vote today for FF FG or amazingly, The Greens, is a vote for live exports to continue, and more €€ for the Greyhound industry. Animal welfare down their list of priorities. Vote for those who want to improve things.

The amount of people on x saying negative things about a woman who was bruised and battered after a night out ended in sexual assault, as if she deserved it due to a boyfriend and child at home. I hope you have no daughters if you think coming home injured like that is ok.

Just a reminder to anyone thinking of booking holidays, Turkey are mass killing stray dogs, pull them off the street and kill them. Passed a law recently to allow it. Horrific pics online. Don’t give them your business, only way to make govt see the error of their ways.

The stuff of nightmares, where are the govt on this?? They need to wake up and start getting tough! Foxes, badgers and hares sold as live bait in underground wildlife trade (via @thejournal_ie)

The Journal Investigates exposes the Irish black market, as data reveals the majority of successful prosecutions aren’t recorded as criminal convictions.

#EUelections2024 candidate Nina Carberry (FG): It emerged in 2010 that she was an "active member" of the cruel Ward Union deer hunt. Described as a "progeny" of the hunt, she was "very upset" at the government's support for a ban on deer hunting 👎👎 https://t.co/37LzrObXxg

Every Sinn Fein candidate in the country just lost votes due to this speech. They can all thank him later.

I think that it’s time somebody sue’s a judge when they become a victim of a crime carried out by a violent offender. If judges were held responsible for violent people getting bail and offending again, they might think twice about it.

Sending young bulls on journeys to countries with horrific animal welfare standards for brutal slaughter after days and weeks at sea, how does that fit with your environmental policies lads? Farmers don’t love their animals, if they did, these ships would not be needed.

Shame on us all for allowing this. Shame on our government to keep giving licences to do it. Vote them out. Including greens who swore to stop this. They are turncoats once they made the govt table. Money more important than promises.
A hare running for dear life at a coursing meet in #Ireland. This bloodsport continues under licence from Minister @DarraghOBrienTD and @NPWSIreland Urge them to withdraw the 2023-24 coursing licences they shamefully issued https://t.co/WpnGgpA84Q
