For those who remember this shot was pushed heavily in Zambia. I remember a radio show in which the US ambassador was asked to take the shot herself if she felt it was safe.
In case you havenβt heard: Women are suing Pfizer in a class action lawsuit because the birth control shots (Depo-Provera) have been found to cause brain tumors. 1 in 4 women use this birth control. And Black women are prescribed it at double the national rate.

Political types only care about return on votes. They dont care about providing services, poverty etc. The sole objective is reelection. They will borrow money for salaries because that's how they think they will get votes. Anyone who thinks this makes sense is delusional.

The government will never be able to create meaningful jobs. All government jobs are a drain on the treasury. Govts main role is to create an environment that fosters job creation in the private sector. The private sector can scale in ways govt cannot.

One has to wonder when recruitment came under the remit of a CEO? Barring this being an executive hire the CEO should not be involved.
This leaked audio implicating the RTSA CEO in a disgusting scheme to remove a job candidate from the job he was about to be awarded because of his tribe is so sad. It becomes the third leaked scandal involving high ranking officials that will most likely go unnoticed under this

So let say the government wins this case and decides they will bury ECL. Then the family decides not to attend, imagine the optics of the burial? I am at a loss as to what the end game is here for either party.
A court in South Africa has dismissed an application for leave to appeal regarding the repatriation of the remains of former Zambian President, Mr. Lungu. Hereβs a thread with background on the case and why the court has thrown the application out.

You dont need to be a prophet to forecast this. MMD is a dead party, no leadership, no vision and no future. UNIP 2.0 another hyena of a party
The Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD) has announced that it will not contest the presidency in the 2026 General Election, but will instead support the candidature of President Hakainde Hichilema.

And so the games begin... Malanji will be released on bail and his appeal will last another 5 years.
