Ahmed Timol and Suliman Sujee, Johannesburg, circa 1960's. Timol was an activist in the Underground structures of the SACP. He died in October 1971 at the age of 29 from injuries sustained when he fell from the top floor of John Vorster Square police station in Johannesburg.

That will just increase their corruption. If a senior citizen is fit and able, let them run. Madiba was 75 when he came into office.
Politicians should be forced to retire at age 65. No 70 or 80 year old should be allowed to take public office. There are many Teachers, Principals and Civil Servants who are healthy, yet forced to retire. The same should apply for politicians, who even sleep in Parliament!.
