Uttam is in production at HAL Hyderabad for 97 LCA Mk1A single crew and twin crew fighters, for which deliveries have to start in 2028. Uttam is bigger than all imported radars, except N001 radar of Sukhoi30MKI which is also due for replacement by Virupaksha.
